Welcome to Nashville's Finest: Chris Johnson

Big Congrats to Chris Johnson, AKA Nashville's newest Millionaire. I'm sure he'll be celebrating by going to Broadway Street and throwing dollar bills at single women. Johnson was a guy ignored by every division one school not named East Carolina before making it big for the Titans. Johnson brings home $30 million dollars guaranteed in a $53.5 million dollar deal over four years.   A double bravo to Jim Wyatt of the Tennessean who broke the story, take that Worldwide Leader.

So CJ finally got his payday, while the Titans didn't have to give him Larry Fitzgerald "elite playmaking" money. It'd be stupid for CJ to get that big of a contract while have to pay offensive linemen minimum wage. Johnson is now under contract until 2016 where he'll be 32. There's no way a running back less than 200 pounds can stay that effective while getting beat in the head 30 times a game. So bravo Chris Johnson, you have stuck it to the man. Maybe we'll see this trend in business rooms around America. Maybe I'll not show up to work for 35 days until I get CEO money.

Be afraid Minnesota, Adrian Peterson is a free agent next year.
