Alshon Jeffery is the #1 player in the SEC per ESPN

ESPN wrapped up their top 25 players in the SEC list today naming South Carolina's Alshon Jeffery the #1 player in the conference over Alabama's Trent Richardson.  The Gamecocks had four players in the top 12 and only two other schools (Alabama & Arkansas) had more players on the list.  ESPN has been releasing the list over the course of the last few weeks and therefore the list is a bit dated as two selections will not be playing SEC football this season; Arkansas RB Knile Davis is out for the year after breaking his ankle and safety Janzen Jackson was booted from Tennessee for smoking weed.  It's also pretty shocking to see LSU & Florida, two schools that annually bring in top 5 recruiting classes, combine for only two players on the list.  The list can be found at: http://espn.go.com/blog/sec/post/_/id/26791/the-secs-best-25-players-no-1  -O's Fan
